I took the plunge and signed up to another social networking phenomenon that is sweeping the Internet today known as Twitter. I’ve been blissfully unaware of how fast this new form of social media has grown until it was mentioned on Radio 1 this morning. I’ve since discovered that Twitter is far more than a glorified status update page. It’s simplicity is it’s success.

It may turn out to be yet another fad similar to Delicious that falls by the way side but I am more than willing to try it and see. I hope it will become a useful tool that will help me meet new contacts, liaise with existing partners and stay up to date with old friends.
