A few weeks ago I saw Alicia Keys at the o2 Arena. I’m certainly no fan but Gemma bought the tickets and was very eager to see her perform live. It turned out that she had booked two seats in the block that overhangs one of the entrances onto the Arena floor. This meant that although we were sat in row H our seats were in the front row. We had an excellent view and plenty of leg room to boot (pun intended)!

Alicia Keys was excellent and performed many of her latest songs and a few classics that even I felt the need to sing along to! The only thing I found slightly annoying was the lone dancer jumping around like he owned the stage. Originally we had planned to visit Warick Castle but in the end decided it was getting too late in the day so found a quaint, old fashioned tea room instead and had a late lunch that included homemade sandwiches, traditional lemonade and a huge slice of cake. Delicious!

One of them was for a free adult ticket to Legoland Windsor when you buy one full price ticket at the gate. For some reason I have always had the urge to go there so we took to the road on day two and made our way to Legoland!

I decided to have a few days off work and take a short break with Gemma this week. We stayed in an excellent hotel on the outskirts of Oxford and couldn’t resist the urge to upgrade to an Executive Suite. Our first port of call was the Cotswold Wildlife Park which wasn’t too far from where we were staying.
