Cotswold Wildlife Park

I decided to have a few days off work and take a short break with Gemma this week. We stayed in an excellent hotel on the outskirts of Oxford and couldn’t resist the urge to upgrade to an Executive Suite. Our first port of call was the Cotswold Wildlife Park which wasn’t too far from where we were staying.

The park has a very good reputation for putting its ‘residents’ first and has been open to the public since 1970. We had a brilliant time as the park is designed to involve its visitors with the animals as intimately as possible. Many of the exhibits allow you to walk freely among the animals allowing you to get extremely close to them. I had my trusty camera with me and took some amazing photos. Here are some of my favourites:

If you are ever in Oxfordshire or simply looking for somewhere to take the kids I would definitely recommend the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Its excellent value for money, all of the animals are amazing and I guarantee you will have an excellent time!
