Does Google have too much power?

Today Google announced details of its new operating system, Google Chrome OS, the next big step on its path to complete global Internet domination. Many people hail the achievements of a company that grew from such small beginnings, however my fears have only increased. Without doubt, Google is the future of digital information, media, marketing and communications. Should a single entity command so much power?

Broadband and the BT Network…

Broadband Internet has been around for years. The fist package I ever signed up to was a 512Kb connection from Freedom 2 Surf. Back then, broadband seemed relatively hassle free and with recent advances in technology suppliers are creating even easier home broadband packages that come complete with idiot proof user guides. My disappointment comes from an apparent lack of support from the UKs core telephone network service provider, BT.
