Today Google announced details of its new operating system, Google Chrome OS, the next big step on its path to complete global Internet domination. Many people hail the achievements of a company that grew from such small beginnings, however my fears have only increased. Without doubt, Google is the future of digital information, media, marketing and communications. Should a single entity command so much power?

The Internet is at the forefront of nearly every single technological development, it is the global communications medium of the world. In the entertainment industry alone a war is raging and digital downloads are winning the battle. The likes of iTunes and Amazon are the future of digital entertainment. Even the upcoming release of the new Sony PSP Go is devoid of a UMD port, digital downloads are your only option.

Logitech products are stylish, functional but most importantly built to a very high standard. I spend a vast amount of time in front of my computer and for this reason I buy quality products that are a pleasure, not only to use, but to look at.
Much of my work is done at night and I do prefer to have the lights off. I find it cuts down on distractions and allows me to focus. The downside to sitting in the dark is the distinct inability to see the keyboard. For this reason I went about researching illuminated keyboards. There isn’t many on the market, however, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Logitech produce one and as per usual they have delivered a product of exceptional quality.

CES Las Vegas, the largest consumer electronics show in the world opened its doors today to present the masses with a huge array of new and exciting products and advancements in technology.
Although many of the people I spoke to today commented on how small the show was this year in comparison to previous years, it was my first, so I was pretty impressed at the scale and grandeur of the event having only been to smaller affairs in the UK.

Broadband Internet has been around for years. The fist package I ever signed up to was a 512Kb connection from Freedom 2 Surf. Back then, broadband seemed relatively hassle free and with recent advances in technology suppliers are creating even easier home broadband packages that come complete with idiot proof user guides. My disappointment comes from an apparent lack of support from the UKs core telephone network service provider, BT.
